geometry problem. No you shouldn't get wrist and neck pains. Yes it's common if your geometry is wrong. Fuck around with your seatpost height, stem length, handlebar angle, saddle angle, saddle position. Or you have a frame that's just too small (like others here I think it might be), and you need to start all the adjustments over again. It's amazing, once you get it right the pains can often disappear literally overnight...
I'd say probably 'loads' of us have had these problems somewhere along the line.
