  • that could be good.

i always thought that one of the points of the beep test was pacing- if you don't do it right you are doing a broken run (getting ahead of the beep and having to wait) which really screws you and impedes progress past level 11.

anyone remember their highest scores? think i remember 13.6 being my limit at age 14

I was thinking last night about this and if it aS done on a bike , I'm sure you soul have to change the distance between points or I think it would be very easy, I remember getting around 17 level at school, they're were quite a few of us doing it and I still had two lives to go but think I lost them coming up to 18, came third though which aS surprising because I felt like I was gonna commit to 'pavement pizza' during and after!

  • two lives? what kind of namby pamby operation did your school run? the beepfather would not be happy!

  • ^^, indeed,
you didn't make the line in time, you were a goner.

  • had three lives in that one cause it wAs a competition, normally we only had one, but for some reason it waS called 'beep test killer', it made it a bit more tactical so they sAid, I say that we should just meet up every two week or whatever and do it somewhere near central London In A park or court somewhere at a convenient time for peeps, how many peeps would be up for it? and when I start doing it myself I will pm people and if they're interested then maybe it could become a regular occurrnce and possibly start a thread about it properly

i'd be up for it- although at first prob to just drop out early to drink beers watching cyclists run.

bet the ride home would be fun, might even consider installing a front brake
