Repainting a chromed frame

The lawyer look-alike speaks sense. There may be some risk involved in stripping off all of this old chrome.

powder-coating with shot blast it anyway. the peeling chrome will come off as the other chrome wont. just leave it.
Armoutex with deal with all of that for you.

I think that Anna is probably going to take HER Merckx to Armourtex. She hates the colour it is now, and as the frame wasn't that expensive and is sort of beat then it's worth the risk to get a colour she likes, she thinks. I would poll what colour she should get, but she's quite cross with me already. Owww! Stop hitting me!

buffalo bill, i think armourtex blasts stuff before they coat, all for 40 or 50 quid.

I regularly use a very good powder coating firm through which I could drastically undercut that price.

Including chemical bath, shot blasting & a huge range of colours & finishes.

which one is this- I'm based in oxford so b'ham is very close + easy to get to...

Unfortunately I can't think of a way of getting it there cheaply.

The Merckx got ridden into a wall during polo, and has a ripple in the top-tube, so it's unlikely that it will ever get repainted....
