you can't always give 48 hours notice. Jo found out she couldn't play during the night before the game, so the only notice they could give was on the morning of the match.

i think the 48 hours is an ideal time frame.

But in this case, its the responsibility of the teams to notify changes...ie could be an unfair advantage.
