Some dodgy bustard tampered (tried to nick it) with my left crank (i always lock right one :)... it seems to me that he tried to remove crank with something sharp, probably knife [hehehehehe] or flat screw driver.. while doing that he fcuked up thread halfway through [not severely]
I hesitate to use crank extractor [for sq taper] as it will damage threads further more... on the other hand I'm desperate to repair it [crankset: 1973 campy record pista 165]
My question is:
Has anyone used piloted Thread Chaser TC - 8 for extractor/dust cap thread? Any luck?
