On1 I was disappointed as well but i don't think there is need to run a smear campaign against them.
there were a bunch of prototypes in TFG, they were doing custom orders at first (the broken promises) but took too long to get organised so I did a duncan bannatyne,
the prototypes looked quite good but the dropouts looked weak and the joinery was a bit rushed. On1 is right the finish was a bit poor in parts, but that was a first batch of prototypes which had to be rushed out so people could see that there was progress being made. The company they are using to spray all their bikes recently did 50 cent's new whip.
If they do it right, they have a lot of potential as the guys behind it have good intentions and priced pretty competitively. Contrary to belief the frames are not road refurbs, they are made by Lee Cooper who's one of the guys behind Bob jackson.
