From the transmission database
Sugino 75 + Campag Centaur 111mm + goldtec + eai = dogsballs
Sugino 75 + Campag Centaur 111mm + Goldtec + EAI= 31t®umPhil cups are adjustable so 0.5mm wouldn't make a diff and are ISO taper same as Campag.
Dunno if EAI cogs are also a factor but they are 'fatter' than most according to Sheldon. Only Dura Ace are really thicker but we are talking fractions of a MM

I have just checked the phil wood website, it appears they dont do a 110.5 BB, but there is a 111 JIS.
I assume this should work, but my brain hurts trying to work this stuff out.

How many times are you going to ask this question James?
Buy a symmetrical 110.5 "Campagnolo taper" Phil BB.

hangs head in shame

If you still don't believe me you can come and measure the chainline on my affinity. Then measure my BB spindle or if you're really lucky I'll even remove the BB from the frame and show you the writing on it.

Emilië
with that level of vehemence I can only trust you!
two different shops had given me different advice, so asking on here was just to get confirmation.
I wil be ordering as per your instructions.
thanks for the help.

all the advice you could need from people who are actually running that stuff as opposed to selling it is in the transmission data base.
as mr. adouble t said. -

gotta say this BB is fucking worth it . . . smooth as a mother fucker ! ! !
I am working on a new build but struggling with the chainline.
Sugino 75 cranks and ring
Goldtech track hubs 120 mm - they have told me the hubs give a 42.5mm chainline
What size Phil Wood BB do I need?
At present I have been told 108, 115.5, 110.5 so am rather confused.
I want to make the most of the low dollar exchange rate right now.
