£190? Pft, there are people on this forum giving away whole bikes for free.
You should do that, to me, as it's my size.
:D

Incidentally, if anyone wants to see the most amazing Harry Quinn ever, you should track down a photo of Agata's - it's not for sale, but it is beautiful.

That is really nice. Powdercoated black, that would be my ideal frame. I have to resist though!

I think it's lovely as it is. Ian, do you have any pics of it with wheels on?
-
• #10
No sir. I never built it up... I can probably wrestle some on there tomorrow if you like

Ian that frame is really lovely. And Harry Quinns are indeed very rare and superbly built.
This link might give more info on the brand itself, although for more details one needs to see the classic bicycle book/pdf.

Is she *still *looking? ;)
Yeah, she's very thorough...
Turns out that the frame is pretty old and built for 27" wheels - I had never even put wheels in it, so I didn't realise. I'm going to build it up and see what it looks like with 700c's. I'll post a pic to show you when it's done.
If anyone's still interested, hit me up.

What's the frame number?
The serial number on these will be in the format “Q1234″ where the number is the number of bikes built since 1948, so you'll get a better idea of the age. The fancy lugs and 27 inch wheels would make it 1950s maybe.
I've had this for a little while and intended building it up, but I just haven't got round to it and keep buying other bikes, so it has to go.
It's a vintage Harry Quinn that was powdercoated around ten years ago and new decals were added. There are some really nice semi-fancy lugs and it's pretty light weight. There are some general dings and some pitting here and there, but it's a sweet looking bike.
At some point, somebody brazed on a gear hanger to use the bike with gears (?) which you can see in the first pic - I've removed that though.
I think it'd look best with a subtle build, but it would be up to the buyer, I guess.
I'm looking for £190 ono.
Any questions, please ask.
