Hippy - i really hope they also managed to give you an inlay copy of the cover of Power (particularly the back) but probably not in those days. Weirdly I met ICE T at 4.30 am in Leeds airport on a flight to Amsterdam - he was checking in before me. The frst thing I noticed was his (extremely large chested) lady - not the one from the Power sleeve. He was very courteous but also very intimidating - entourage looked like an NFL squad.
Anyway - everyone's being quiet on De La. Can someone post the b-side to this (Mack Daddy on the Left)? No pre-pubescent rhymes yet & I'm not posting Kriss-Kross (although there are some great mixes of Jump...):

Funnily enough, all the the hip hop I used to have was on my mix cassettes my mate used to make up for me. He was the only person I knew that was into old school hip hop and had a pair of turntables...he used to spend every last penny he had on vinyl, we used to visit charity shops for random old vinyl with some electro/hip hop anything, those were the days.

Classic, love that tune... My all-time fave is this tho', kinda obvious but hey... Saw them do this at the Hammy Odeon in '87 (I think), the whole place went ape-shit bananas... Still the most exhilarated I've ever been at a show... Truly awesome... Up there with The Stooges for me...
