I recently used the example of a spirograph to explain epicyclic motion / precession to someone.
It explains why each pedal threads in an opposite direction but not how you might expect...
They also looked suitably bored. -

Not fixed or single, but built this up for a customer @ work tother day. Used an old Viking frame that was one step from the skip. Came out alright for £680 (wheels and tyres were £400). So alternate Guvnor, done with a retro frame and new parts.
Rubbish pics sorry.

Seen cork grips on eBay
Cheers but ones that come up on ebay are all is US with ridiculous p&p. £15 - 20 p&p for £7 grips. Hubjub are only UK stockists I can find but have been out of stock for a long time as well. Am after natural cork / shellaced ones.
