  • I think I walked out of a film once (I'm pretty sure I've done it exactly once), but I can't remember what it was. It takes a lot to make me walk out of a movie.

    I fell asleep in The Naked Gun 2. I think I must have been about 15.

    Sooo many piss-poor films it's not worth remembering them at all. I really just remember the ones that were uninentionally hilarious, like Lorenzo's Oil. I apologise in advance to anyone who thought it was truly touching (it was meant to be and it is meant to be about a serious subject), but my mate and I thought it was the most emotionally insincere and ridiculous splat of turgid shite we'd ever seen (up to that point ...). We recently saw another one that was similarly awful but I've already forgotten what it was. Advancing age.

    I was profoundly traumatised when I saw The Fellowship of the Rings in the Peter Jackson version. (This was not because I hate Tolkien's work but because I love it.)
