i dont want or need the money. im giving my bike away to the person i feel needs it and deserves it the most.
are you taking politeness into the equation?
i used the magic word, my mum taught me proper.
in all seriousness this would be awesome timing for me to aquire a ride- no girl, no job and no money.

If you're playing the 'skint' card, I'm a poor student who needs transport after a car ran over the front of his bike, writing the forks off. all i need if the fork and front wheel, then the rest will be distributed, in pieces amongst lfgss free of charge, as you wished.

Since no-one's asked what size it is, I don't think any of the dibsers actually want to ride it. They just want to flog it for cold hard cash. :(

Nope, I just want the front end to get my bike up and running again, so I dont have to walk in to lectures in the cold, then I will pay for the postage to split the rest of the bike in pieces between the other forum members, on a first come, first served basis.

I'm a poor labourer who works outside in the brassic cold to earn enough money to pay the rent, and that job's going to run out soon. I can only afford a peugeot carbolite conversion that WILL kill me one of these days. A track bike would make me smile again. :(

Or how about give the bike to someone who can temporarily store it then we hold a raffle, £2 a ticket money goes to the server/messenger charity/other bike related cause.

I think splitting it up is the fairest way. everyone get's something they need then... I'm in desperate need of forks and a front wheel (and desperately short of money), other people would benefit from other parts, rather than giving it all to one person? Just a suggestion.

I would not give it anybody they are a bunch of time wasters putting dibs on things then never paying or backing out because of some lame excuse, and if you live outside London you have stolen everything.

Can't argue with the raffling it off for charity idea I suppose. Would work well.
Thats a very noble thing you are doing there bush bros :)
I'll put my name down on the 'please, pretty please list', not sure I have any illnesses to warrant it but I am skint if that makes any difference :)
Oh and about to have a baby so will be even skinter in about.. ooooh 6 weeks!
