trust me , all thats happened is the 160.00 offer person has made a very good offer over the phone for example and the seller has accepted the offer. ebay fees are lower and when buyer collects they pay the price that was agreed. very straight forward. only prob is if somebody moans to ebay because the seller already allowed to expire an offer of 600.00 so why would he accept an offer 500.00 dollars lower. they would smell a rat and see it as circumventing ebay fees
