no dudes it was cetacian for sho. shiny, be-finned and swimming slowly upstream. not that uncommon apparently. luckily someone else saw it the last time it surfaced (just by the barge upstream of blackfriars bridge) so i didn't feel like a total nutter. it was just outside the window here for 2 or 3 minutes then snuck away.

I just saw a cat in my kitchen. Oh, hold on, that's my cat.
In the last two months though I have had a fox, a squirrel, a pigeon and several other cats come in through the open window. Not all at the same time, obviously. -

It's possible the animals were running away from scousers. They'll eat anything they will, what with their wacky sense of humour.

Poor thing. They usually die when they get this far upstream
well, not just, it was actually about three hours ago but i was busy with work.
and it wasn't actually a dolphin, according to my little spotter's sheet and marine mammal sighting form i faxed off i think it was a harbour porpoise.
still, pretty exciting i thought.
ummm.
just sharing.
