Ah, i think you may be right about that fat pants, my bad. It's been a long day, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
I like the idea about a message from the past. I too have written under stickers and also inserted rolled business cards into my bikes many orifices as an attempt to prove ownership in the event it gets stolen and (hopefully) recovered.
