So I keep going on about this down the pub so I thought I ought to pull my finger out and start organising it.
There is a 100k ride around the isle of wight on may day weekend, I did it last year fixed and it was rolling and a perfect mix of hills and great scenery http://www.cycleisland.co.uk has loads of details.
A few of my non cycling mtb riding mates and w.a.g.s are planning on staying on a campsite with some cool teepees arriving on the saturday and leaving on the bank holiday monday

the teepee's are less than a tenner a night if there are a few people sharing and if you bring your own tent even cheaper
The ferry should be under a tenner each and the ride itself is free(well charity donation) so bargaintastic weekend of fixed gear fun
