It's apparently incredibly eerie with just a few locals that refused to leave- like a pause button was hit. They get through by vodka- first thing in the morning, last thing at night.

There's a story somewhere (I thought it was on that site, but looking again I can't see it tonight... anyway, maybe it's one of them urban myths) the guys drafted in to clean up after the incident had been offered a choice - do one small task at the chernobyl site (amounting to a few minutes work), or spend 2 years in Afghanistan fighting. What a choice.

I totally trust you seeing as you provide no proof to back up your claim that it is fake.
Seriously why even bother leaving the comment? Its as bad as when ppl tell you they have a secret but they can't possibly tell you.
BTW guys Guerillaphoto is lying, its not fake, trust me I know!

Another beauty from the FGG.
The site has had some amazing bikes & stories in the past... but 90+ percent of the builds are clearly total shite. Some of the owners don't do themselves any favours either.
its a popular tourist attraction. You can visit it (as part of an organised tour) and its quite safe (the tours don't stay overnight). If you wanted to stay there I think they'd say no as its still very radioactive (which is bad if you're subject to prolonged exposure but fairly harmless in small doses) but plenty of animals and a few local ppl do live there (although not on the actual power plant site) but they're kind of unofficially there (most are villagers who evacuated but wanted to go back home) so no word on their health condition.
I'd love to visit one day.
