Good night, Easties and guests, good to see you. Bah, why did I then go home and pour a massive Armangac and listen to Joan Armatrading and Japan LPs? I gotta get more sleep and less booze in me.
The other slackers at Easts are just too cool for school and only roll up late cos we're all so louche in East London dontcha know. I ususally don't make it til half nine. But then I have a good reason for that - I was reading aloud 'in which Pooh and Piglet hunt for a Woozle', (having made a tarte flamme and some hoummous beforehand, after getting in from work), then dinner, then go out.
The lyrics to 'Once in a Lifetime' often ring around in my mind at times like this ...
