I abhor coloured chains.

Ugly brakes? They, sir, are Campagnolo Deltas, simply the most beautiful brake ever produced.
Your card is marked. Any more nonsense and it'll be pistols at dawn.
+1 , 'ugly brakes' , like 'duh' - Italian sexualness more like - how is that Casati coming alone?

Lethal - why do you have Superted as your avatar?
its a famous indian wrestler of yesteryear, but i guess you already knew that.

Slowly. The wheels are cleaned but I need to get the acetone out and clean the residue glue from the rims. That's not really a job you can do indoors so I'm waiting for a warmer day. It's been a long wait so far.

try lighter fluid, no need for warmth, in fact, probably best to have as little warmth as possible

Thanks Aaron, but I'm the one who needs the warmth and the fumes from the lighter fluid would be as bad, if not worse, than those from the acetone in a confined space. Plus my gf, who puts up with enough as it is, might get a bit annoyed if the entire house stinks of nail varnish remover.

fair do's, I usually get called on random grease smells and solvent odours, the usual 'gas leak love' seems to distract her.

The Powdercoated ones look a bit cheap actually but the gold one could add a nice subtle bit of bling
got a pearl black frame with gold lug lining and gold decal, everything else is black. thinking a gold chain might look good...

I find all these track frame front loader work bikes completely abhorrent.
Total bastardisation of the track geometry and waste of frame.
If your gonna have a big basket/rack get a vintage tourer with super lax angles or audax bike at least. Run 27" wheels & proper sweep back bars too ideally.
+1, they look shit

Can something be subtle and still qualify as bling?

Sometimes the huge racks can get a bit much I admit, but on the right bike I'm all for a bit of porteur style, plus I'm totally feeling the whole pope bars thing.http://velospace.org/files/cinellijr.jpg

From the look of the position of the rear wheel, it's completely unnecessary as well.

eco-friendly vintage porn.
Parkers have got the coloured KMC Z410 and Z510HX for cheapo 1/8 chain bling £5.75 and £11.50
But I'm loving the oval side plate Shimano track chain @ Bens Cycles $22.50
