'the problem with running fixed with bmx cranks is that the sprocket is held to the crank with one bolt, which when it is put under forwards and backwards pressure comes loose quite easily. there are two solutions to this, wither get bmx race cranks (http://www.alansbmx.com/index.php?cPath=38_92) which come with those spline things or buy one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Tree-bicycles-...230115002r7112. either way it's going to be more expensive than some cheap race cranks. but if you can be assed with tightening up the bolt alot check http://www.winstanleysbmx.com/index....uicksearch=181 as winstanleys tends to have some of the better deals.'
