another unipak on the triangle. get off the pavement you prick. get that close again and i'll push you off next time. and get a new lock too, hardware store chains arent the best security.
as for single speed and front brake, ive said it before and i'll continue to say it. no no no no. its fucking unsafe and its not just you you put at risk. and in case people care, its against the law.
oh while im having a pop, some people need to get some fucking lights on their bike. fuck, how stupid can people be.
yea. and i reckon i spotted djc yesterday. a wee nod between us, it made me smile.

Sadly, I currently work in Sainsbury's. A very shit part time job - but it funded my bike. I've been lurking on the forum for a while, but only just realised I had to join this social group in order to post. I live in St Andrews, so i'm often hurtling up and down the Gloucester road. Just shout.
Saw a chap on a rather nice white bike trackstanding his socks off next to me at the lights by the arches! I was on my big muddy bike for a change! I think he spotted my eBay deal of a campag hat!
I remember that! I noticed you were checking out the bike. I think the campag hat and keen expression were a bit of a giveaway, but what were you riding?

I'm into my mountain biking and also have a BMX too! 700c wheels don't do too well in thick mud or at a skatepark! Tend to mix it up on my commute to work but it's usually the fixed! Gears and suspension feel a little bit like over-kill on Bristol roads! Anyway I'm off to the peak district on said mountain bike for new years! Have a good one everybody!

Saw a guy cranking it up the bottom of park street earlier, not sure what bike, had drops & blue parts, then saw a bianchi (davidjohnclapp?) and another rider racing through the centre. Was in me motor though!

Hey buddy!

Saw a couple of fixed gear bikes locked up out side that big bike shop at the bottom of park street, where the big music shop used to be/is? (i'm not local!)
Didn't get a real good look, but one brakeless with a brooks saddle, and one with white front brake.
Was yesterday, friday 2nd Jan. Any takers? One looked like a surly..... but was whizzing by in me car.
Went into american apparell too as it happens, but only downstairs with my wife. I'll come up and shout davidjohnclapp next time and see what heappens!!!

Saw 2 bikes locked up outside Evans yesterday - one black with mega-wide-riser-bars, and a brown SE.
Also a guy riding through Keynsham at 8:45 this morning on a stealthy black bike, anyone here? -

8.25 this morning - pretty sure it was the vocalist from Mea Culpa riding a unipack down the gloucester road? I've seen a lot lately.

James Cooke has finally been spotted! You're right -- he was once a member of Mea Culpa --- he does ride a Unipack.

Ride what you dig.

Very true, but those bikes have a bit of a reputation for being horribly bad quality and sometimes even unsafe.
just get a fuji! -

i will do that. You can show me your bike an all, if you take it with you that is....
-
• #195
+1 for riding what you dig
+1 for not riding bikes that may kill you.....!!

• #196
Yeah, I know, I hear you bro. He's a friend, so...I push for upgrades on key components every time we ride. 95% of the time though, I'd say that I'm just real happy that my friends are stoked on riding bikes.

Unipacks aren't my cup of tea, but I won't get into a rant.
Mea Culpa were good back in the day - a shame they disbanded. Also spotted a guy riding up whiteladies outside sainsburys at about 8.15, I didn't manage to get a glimpse of what he was riding but it looked singlespeed? SHOUT! -

I dont have a fuji, but they are similar price to unipacks (a bit more actually)
and take it where?Oh and djc - Yeah I totally agree with you on people riding. I was just pointing out flaws in the bike not the rider/reason for riding it!
