johnnyhotdog - seeing your posts (and others) reminds me of how much I want to buy an old classic heap to restore from the ground up. Problem is everything that ever catches my eye turns out to cost about £50k for a crappy shed-rotted shell. I'm at the stage now where I don't even want to say the name of the car I want for fear of the price going through the roof.
I'll probably end up with a Renault 5 at this rate...
