with or without pad? tights are usually just lycra tights with no pad. the naming is all a bit confusing 'knickers' are 3/4 length, tights are full length with no bib, bibs are bibs but they could be bib 3/4's.
shorts are shorts but there are also bibshorts but bibshorts always have a pad. biblongs come with or without pad. so you could wear biblongs over padded bibshorts (like i do in this cold weather).
