These hilly rides - are y'all doing these fixed or using gears? I'd like to start tackling some longer distances (including some hilly miles) this year and just wanted to know (if you're doing these fixed that is) what sort of GI you're using. I only have a fixed bike you see so I'd quite like to know which would be worth having a go at (as a newbie to this training lark) and which to just keep the fuck away from.
