    I have never ever had sensitive teeth in my life. But just today, all my teeth feel wobbly & sore, sensitive at the roots (pressure) and tips (temperature) really extreme.

    But I guess it shall pass.

    Dont like the sound of the wobbly bit.

    I was diagnoised with peradontis at the beginning of last year (first trip to the dentist in 10 years). It is a infection in the roots of the teeth, which slowly but surely eats away at the jaw bone tissue. treatment is amazingly painful, and involves...

    Removal of badly affected teeth (I've had 4 molars removed so far)
    cutting the gum away from the teeth,
    scrapping with a small sharp hook,
    destruction of the small sacks of bacteria with a small ultra-sound probe, and
    stitching the gums back together.
    To treat a whole mouth takes about six treatments.
    Man 2008 was a shit year!

    Apparently it is not that rare a complaint, especially with smokers, and often goes unnoticed.
