It's definitely possible. A lot of the doping methods used are undetectable, such as blood doping using your own blood (800 mls of blood is removed and stored then reinjected about 6 weeks later to give you an instant performance boost). The dominance of the Jamaican sprinters at the Olympics would suggest an organised doping regime to me though.
+1 to that... Before anyone touts the UK Cyclists, there is a huge difference between the two. There is a very well funded, fairly transparent regime around British Cycling. Very few of the performances are surprises, as they train day in and day out getting every little thing right, which gives them the advantage.
Jamaican sprinting -is it as scientific, as well funded? No -also there's the lack of out of competition testing... looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, must be athletes on drugs :)
