Nothing wrong with a road conversion, just pointing out it's not a track bike to the person asking.
Gearing is too high = needs a new cog or chainring which = possible new chain.
Old road frames are cheap and this has the potential of being pain in arse french one = fail.
Sizing not an issue but pointing it out to the person.
