Is the man that invented Techno playing house or techno? Ummmm I'm going with Techno. Best ever techno mix by this man The MayDay mix. He practised for 2 weeks solid 8am till 10pm and then did it in one take. He mixes in a track backwards. He's my god. I've been lucky to meet him as he's the godfather to a mate's children.

A truly amazing man. Totally captivating to talk to and funny to boot. I have a man crush.

Fazered - not having a go but what i said about house or techno was a bit tongue in cheek. I seem to remember a big argument about the detroit techno guys at the time about who 'invented' it Juan Atkins/Kevin Saunderson/Jeff Mills.... - and really who gives a flying fuck. Music is music and as the OP noticed it's impossible to say what the best 'house' music is. It just managed to make us white boys dance (and some of it was mad)...
