my brother is looking for a zoom lense for when he goes to the lakes in a few weeks, i keep telling him if he wants good pics of the hills he needs to buy a wide angle lense not a zoom. i will ask him in the morning if he wants to buy it. i dont know if he will pay £200 for it though, he was looking at a zoom lense for around 170-180 the other day but i will see what he says.

The macro on these is a joke though, you can get in closer with the kit lens on a d50.
Don't use it now i have a 15mm so i'm going to sell it to pay for a zoom.
I'm just about to take some snaps of it and list it on eBay but thought i'd offer here first.
Really good condition, Hoya skylight filter on the front (as i always do), front and back caps, zipped cordura case, instruction leaflet and cardboard box all present but unfortunatley no lens hood.
No second hand ones on eBay just now, only new ones from Hong Kong and they start at over £300, im looking for £200.
Don't live in London but i'l post anywhere in UK for that price.
Ps, the zoom i'm looking for is a Sigma 24-60mm EX DG in Nikon fit so if you have one to swap/sell give me a shout.
