Just use some brake blocks for carbon rims. Running this on my deep v non-machined and is still in top shape.

Apologies if this is a stupid question (i have searched), but what's the deal with a 650c rim on a standard bike that would normally use 700c?
I understand that the handling will be a bit more "lively", but what about the brakes?
Lots of people seem to have 650c front, 700c rear. And they look sweet.
It's what i'm looking for now I'm attempting a fixed build. -

Newly built front 650c wheel, black non machined H Plus Son Rim, radially laced to red Iro Hub, with black spokes and nipples.
Rim is a clincher.
The hub is a metallic red, same as this:
Never ridden or fitted, have another wheel that made this one surplus to requirements, comes with Conti Grand Prix .
