great bike - just a quick question where did you get the frame? price?

  • how uncouth.

  • where did you get the frame? price?

450 euro here in cold sweden.
    Love it, so stiff ;)

  • thanks

  • That looks lovely, Ed. Are you putting black or silver bar tape on or none at all? ;)

    now it got brooks leather;

my plan is, since it got a threaded headset, I can able to have 3 different bar set up with a simple change of stem with bar, currently it have the commuter bar (slighty wider B123AA with 110mm stem), the other one will be the blue Nitto B123AA with blue Nitto Pro AA stem (soon to come) for HHSB, and then a short stem (70mmish) with riser for mucking about, such as for Trixie Dix.

The Bianchi never handle so sweeter since I got the fork, even if it not a proper track fork, the combination of a tight track frame and road fork made it just spot-on for London.

  • The offroad steed.
    Same with face.

  • I've got a Marlboro Woodstock but its the mans frame. What wheels does yours take?

I just got a stock 700c upfront but it looks a bit smaller than the rear. I didn't pay too much attention to it to be honest, just needed to get it back up and running.

  • and ill always be smoking the erb

Of all the people I know who used to say that (lots) only one still does smoke regularly. Just wait till you get more responsibilities.

  • brooks tape looks excellent.

  • Ta mate, I'm rather pleased by how it look now, new project to come now with 531 awesominesd.

  • I'm no expert but that arrospok doesn't look very...aero dynamic? What is it?

  • it's not an arrospok, it's a carbon springey.

  • Not the road version but basically the same thing

the blades are like paper thin, aerodynamic in my book.

  • im thinking of getting it resprayed

Don't do it! It looks fresh like that..

hmmm im thinking about just getting a respray but in white as its getting a bit dull

  • I see, thought they were similar to arrospok but with righ angle edges or something.
I'd get some more white highlights to go with it though?

  • hi Ed, nice forks, i want to do the same thing to my pista as i hate the a head stem.was it an easy job and what length steerer did you use, it looks like you have a 55 cm frame from the pics.

if you like prouve and the hayward, i checked your flickr, check out my website.

    cheers

  • edscoble ... best looking bike I've seen in a long time. I'm sure i've seen it locked up around town.

I got some stem that you might like if you hate your current one, also you can get your fork threaded since it's a standard 1" size, I don't know what length but it's about 175cm (and it's an 57cm frame too)
