Sano's been rollong on bare metal for a while, it seems fine.
when the rust builds up you can just rub it off.

but i may well give it a light coat of clear.

im sure vw guys have this wax stuff they rub into rat look vehicles to delay the corrossion process,
but eventually it does eat through regardelss as far as im aware,
and when i say eventually i mean years!
