I'm with dogmatic on this, I have a front brake but I rarely ever use. It's not that I don't trust myself, I don't trust other road users and it's nice to have that added security.
I don't disagree, I got thirty years of city riding under my belt, including seven years as a London courier, even with this amount of experience I can't anticpate everything which why when I ride brakeless I don't race and I slow down
