  • was that including the chain ring ed?

the whole shebang, crank, chain ring and BB, or 50 quid if you don´t want the BB.

haha im getting the paul royal flush cranks from blb and pedals are some shitty ones i got free but ed got it right so he can have the prize of the crank when im done with it ;)

quick warning - I think you´d need a Phil or campgy BB to fit the Paul crankset.

  • and oh yea only 1 thing remains from the unipack still.
    Prize for who guesses right...

    crank!!!!!!!

  • the whole shebang, crank, chain ring and BB, or 50 quid if you don´t want the BB.

Seriously? Sure it wasn't in the sale?

yup im gonna get the phil bb too, i just got bought the paul flush cranks now and am getting the bb within the next 2 weeks i should hope.

  • saw you down at trix the other day, whats up with the white tape around the hed3?

dno just thought it looked boring with nuthing on and it looks jokes with it on when going bare fast, ive taken it off now though

  • I want to see progress photos!!! Would make this a 5-star thread.

what a waste of perfectly good tape

  • Lol, is that the original frame you got with the unipack?
If so, it certainly looks good (not the horrible aluminium frankestein bikes I saw on the unipack thread) The chromed rear triangle, as well as the track drops, speak of certain quality....

Stupid question: with the pics below all makes sense now

  • I want to see progress photos!!! Would make this a 5-star thread.

these are the only 3 i have,

first thing i did was to buy a new front wheel,

then i bought the charge spoon white saddle, then i bought a new stem, the nitto pro aa, before realising it didnt fit my head tube,
this meant i needed a new frame, so went to tour de ville an jos and got a rossin track frame, then i was given a seat post free to fit and was running on the unipaks freewheel still. i then bought a rear tubular wheel to go fixed and went to 44/17
i then bought handle bars, risers. i also was given a free brooks vitesse saddle before then getting new black stem and drops(ill show photos of them on another time) i broke the rossins original forks and stuck them horrible yellow ones on that i recieved free, and then went on to buy some pro lite carbon ones off british cycles for 40 quid. i then recently got a phil hub laced to a Hplusson rim about a month ago and about a week ago purchased a front hed3 carbon wheel for 150. this is about the stage i am at now. i just bought some paul cranks this morning and am going to get a phil bb to make this build almost finished, before getting a new seatpost and a respray, im thinking perleasent white.

    essay over.

  • oh yea and DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT GETTING A UNIPACK

  • £150 for the hed3 is pretty good. Tub?

  • hed 3 for 150 is pretty rad isit tubular?

  • haha can't believe that just happened

  • haha yea it is, on the front it dont really matter though i had a rear tub and that was KILLER but it means im really good at quickly changing tubular tyres

  • hed 3 for 150 is pretty rad isit tubular?

Are you watching what I type? Jinx on you, can't post until I say your name..

    I've said your name.

  • Kyle, you gonna sell me that front wheel then?

And Ed, can you choose the BB length with that crankset deal?

  • Kyle, you gonna sell me that front wheel then?

umm nah i dont wanna cause i would like to do tricks on the other wheel i think
unless i find out that its safe to try wheelies on a hed3 without it snapping and me being gutted...
and plus how much would u pay?

  • Seriously? Sure it wasn't in the sale?

nah not on the sales, it´s those Surgino Messenger crank, a good entry level crank for fixed wheel bicycles.

  • that's a hell of an improvement in a few months... hehe

  • is the unipack completly dead then?

  • nosferatu:
I've got the same forks on my track bike, but they are threadless. did you get your's threaded then?

yup got them threaded and cut down to size, i had a nice stem i liked so didnt wanna change, why u thinking of getting an a head stem?

  • Not sure that the Hed 3 is good to recieve too much abuse if it a tubular. You picked a bargain there for £150... where did you get that?
