I had an idea for getting more people playing polo: Speed dating.
Basically we'd have two player teams, each with an experienced player and a newbies. After each game, the partners rotate. Obviously, depending on the number of newbies, we would have three on three with two experienced players and one newbie, etc.
We could run it in paralell to throw in games if we played down at Central Street (across the court) or Newington Green (on court for speed dating, one for throw ins). This would also mean that we could do one night South, one night North, perhaps having a set day and using each court alternating weeks.
