MKS sylvan Pedals & Clips/cages...

Hi guys i just fitted my first cages and new pedals,
so this is a bit of a new boy question
i fitted the downturn bit on the cage with the bolt holes inside the pedal rather than affixing it to the outside, i did this beacuse the pedals are gold
will this have an adverse affect
also do you find the mks cages stretch out a little to allow your trainer/shoe in better as at the moment i find the centre piece that the strap passes through is riding up into the lacing of my shoes

They're so thin you can bend them to any shape, it doesn't really matter.

careful you don't snap them when you bend the cages. (better get a spare set... you'll need them soon enough)

do you guys just run spd's or plastic cages
