Bike Thief Raid

I was rudely awakened this morning by the sound of a battering ram going through my neighbour’s door as the police raided his house, for ‘drugs, bikes and other stolen goods’.

Poor twat, he’s a friendly enough kid who had just started back at college and picked up a part-time labouring job in the hope of getting his shit together, but he’s also, it turns out, a thieving little bastard.

Apparently the frame numbers had been removed, but they were taking pretty detailed descriptions of the bikes as they brought them out. It brings me joy to think they may actually get returned.

Hopefully some bikes can be returned to their rightfull owners, you didn't happen to see if he had a white Colnago or a black Brompton in his stash??!

Was a shame, I was given the frame and forks for nowt, and only had to pay £80 for an official Colnago respray. The guy who runs Maestro UK near Bognor was a good friend of the chap who gave me the F+F, he used to drive to Italy personally to pick up frames for resale in the UK.

Was slightly to big for me, but it's the comfiest bike I've ever ridden (to date!). Pinched 8 weeks and 4 days after that photo was taken.
