It's not 25.4 is it rather than 25? I've got a couple of the old 25.4 ones you could have.

25 exactly, I measure it carefully.

Inverse shim the 25.4mm then.

Thompson and Bontrager do em, but i dont think that is quite the style you are looking for? I have a feeling that Halfords/Bike hut in Putney have a plain alloy one in that size for about 12 quid, but i would phone to check

I have a Thomson in 25.0, or are you looking for something cheap?

Have you tried Push seatposts?

i need something cheap, chrome and simple, right now ordering it online is probably not a great idea due to christmas coming up!
A thomson as great as they are, might look wrong, especially in black.

Dont bother with Halfords, they only stock 25.4 and 27.2.

I've just checked 5 bike shops today, Condor were the closet at 25.4, damn Raleigh for having an unusual sized seat post.

wayne saved the day and Christmas!
kinda, he did found the right seatpost the same time I found this one in a bike shop nearby, felt quite bad when someone else has done the work for me thought!
As christmas is closing by, all I have left on the bike I´m building is the seatpost, does anyone have any 25mm seatpost at all?
Ed
