a kiwi is just an aussie with all the self importance beaten out of them.
being serious for a moment (yes i can do serious) i'm good at spotting the kiwi accent so whenever meeting one they always let a little smile out when you say "whereabouts in new zealand are you from?" they are so used to being asked if they are australian.
