Check the stack height as well.
Try a MTB stem, some 22.2mm, 25.4mm and 31.8mm.
The one I have (Goldtec) is passable for now as I am using it on my polo bike but the stack height is a bit to deep and I could do with a bit more extension. Yeah it looks pretty.
Chainreactioncycles have a few choices.
