Ok i'll take it home tonight so it's with me over the weekend, I live south of the river but can meet you half way maybe.
No difference re track or road, it's just that it would get less punishment (the tyre that is) on a nice smooth track.... the wheel itself is solid as a rock!
The tyre is 26 x 3/4 (650w) whereas my previous 650 had a 26 x 1 (650c) but if you look at sheldon browns piece on rim sizing it falls under the same rim size so I guess you can use either tyre.... anyway, i'll leave it up to you, let me know tomorrow if not i'll put it on ebay.
