Ceramics might wear your rims pretty quick if they're not machined.

Have never used these, but seem to remember reading good reviews.
Personally I'm happy with the reasonably cheap fibrax pads. Can squeal in the wet, but seem to modulate well in all conditions.

kool-stop pads are simply the best. I prefer salmon. I wouldnt bother with any other pads than kool-stops and I recommend others to do so as well. The sell replacements which are quite available.

I've both, IMHO Swiss stops preferable.
I am having issues with my brake blocks dissolving, leaving my rims in a black, slimy tractionless state.
Was wondering if anyone can reccomend something particularly suited to wet weather & a not particularly grippy unmachined rim.
Im currently using these exact brake blocks & holders:
A refill that would fit would be great, but begggars cant be choosers etc , I know.
