Understated but perfect. - surprising for something yellow & blue!

Glad you like it. I'm not into the brake arrangement myself but everything else is really nice. Even the tyres are the blue pro-race ones.

would you be willing to split? How much for just the frame?

Not really I'm afraid. I've got so many odds and sods lying about I'd like to keep it complete. Girl friend pressure to make space is bearing down on me heavy.

It's beautiful! i've forwarded a picture to someone, but I reckon it's a bit too 'spensive for them.
Gus, I'm sure you'd ride the living daylights out of it! But shouldn't you buy frames with a bit of growing room?

I'm actually really interested in this. This would be my first purchase of this kind of bike. What heights would you recommend this for?

OK. The best way to do this is to compare inside leg measurement with the standover height. If you stand with your legs a little apart and measure from the floor to your crotch that's your inside leg. Imagine standing astride the bike with the top tube being 78 cms from the floor. Ideally your nuts are resting on the frame but not your pubic bone. Doesn't make for a nice picture but thats how it's done. Alternatively just come round and give the bike a try. How tall are you?

I'd say that would suit someone of approx 5ft 7/8" :)

Hi Andrea, acfonzie messaged me. Come round and try the frame whenever you like. I'm in Hackney and in most evenings and about during the day tomorrow if that suits.

This is still up for grabs. I know lots of people want frame and forks only but I'm loathed to be left with more parts. Anyone want the complete bike for £340? PM me for viewings.
I've not sold anything on here before so bear with me - any advice appreciated. I only have this photo at the mo as there's never enough daylight. Hopefully someone wants it. Viewing and testrides welcome. I'm in Hackney.
A small Fred James 531 Track frame. Paintwork is virtually immaculate having been renovated by James cycles of Alford Lincs by the previous owner. This fella had 40 bikes and kept them all in really good condition, I think he would regularly go to the garage just to "oil the chains". He used to ride them all but looking at the parts it's in very good condition. The Fred James decals are stickers that can be removed by the look of them.
Measurements: Seat tube 51.5 ctt, top tube 53ctc, Stand over height is about 78cms.
Bits: Miche 170mm crank, Miche BB, Miche Seat post, Normandy hubs on Rigida rims (rear is a flip flop fixed/free currently on fixed 20t I think), Michelin pro race tyres, Look pedals, Concor light saddle, Cinelli stem, Stronglight headset, campag front brake and campag lever.
I have just noticed that the cones on the wheels could be tighened a bit but otherwise the bikes seems sound.
I'm looking to get £360 for it.
