If you are looking for a cheap option there are lots of waterproof self adhesive inkjet stocks on ebay.
If you get some I'd love to see the outcome. Or maybe I could buy a sheet from you to test. -

I reckon if they're single coloured, you should definitely go down the vinyl route. although it seems hard to find to do it. I'm quite interested in doing it myself.

water slide transfers are only worth using if your going to clear coat them right? remebering back to my airfix days i remeber being able to scratch them with my nail.
JOL- ill give those a look. i much prefer buying small stuff from shops if i can. the intenet is there for when i absolutly cant get hold of it.

I really want to get some vinyl stickers done for my bike as its completely plain atm. I e-mailed a couple of places for quotes and they all said around £70 for a few, simple, plain colour vinyl stickers.
The annoying thing is, I actually own a vinyl plotting machine, but its old, and the instructions are in engrish, and I cant get it to work. I need to find a copy of an ancient program called plt-draw i think.
edit-Found a copy, will try and make some vinyl transfers.

London Graphic Center sell tose a4 vynal sheets for inkjet printing i think, not exactly small but its not ebay..
i recently had my frame re-sprayed and now i want to put some nice graphics onto it to finish the job. i didnt have a fancy respray so no clear coat.
i have the graphics, but im not sure how to get them into a sticky backed form.
i thought that i would be able to easily get hold of some kind of paper that i could print on with a standard inkjet or laser printer, but it doesnt seem to exist in any of the shops ive tried.
i dont know about getting it printed proffessionally, as id imagine it would be pretty expensive when i only want 3 stickers.
also it would be good if they could hold up to the weather, and not need replacing too often.
