Crumplers on ebay

  • So i want a sticky date, and i've had a look on ebay and there's one for 35 quid brand new buy it now, do i believe this? I'm usually pretty good with these things, but it seems legit, 100% positive feedback etc, i just don't want a cheap/fake one!

Or, i could go for one that's 70 quid that's almost guaranteed to be real... But that's extra dorrah.

Or, as i like to carry a lot sometimes, go for the bigger (by the looks of it) fux deluxe. However, i'm not a curryier so i dunno if i'd need all that space, for 50 quid.

Opinions on size, and then legitness please :)

  • I've had a Fux Deluxe for 5 years (no courier work).
It works. The water-proofness is getting a bit weak but it still holds stuff.

  • Too big? Comfort is a big thing, and if it's that big i might get a megadeath sweaty back instead of a death sweaty back from a sticky date.

The ultimate test - how many cans of beer can you fit in it?

  • Not too big.
I don't do "comfort".. that's something womenfolk use to describe their tampon inserters.
I sweat like a mofo so don't care. Get one of those backpacks with frames that hold the bag off your back.

    This many..

  • Fuck it, i'll go for a sticky date cos it's deeper (i think)

    And now, what colour? lol.

  • It's not deeper. The Fux is bigger in all dimenions (i just looked at another ebay listing).
The Sticky Date is a laptop bag so is heavier and has laptop holder stuff in it. The Fux is just a big bag with 3 smaller pockets at the front and a zip pocket that I've never used.

  • Ahhh. Erm, i can't make up my mind now! Bollocks. I want the pockets but they might get in the way.

  • You are welcome to visit me and touch my sack..

  • Thanks for the offer, but i'm not into that :P

Went for the sticky date as i know it's big enough, and i've worn one and it's comfy etc.

    Cheers hipster.

Where did you manage to source those Boags???

  • I've got a fux deluxe and will have it with me on Sunday at the xmas party. Hit me up if you want to take a better look. It's big, bigger than my large chrome bag. Not as big as the large archie's grobag (daddy mac?).

good thing about these is they take a photo-bucket...bad, well it's huge.

That pic is 5 years old, in Melbourne.

  • had a sticky date for two years, bought by work as a laptop bag, cheap.

not the most comfortable, not the most waterproof, but it's carried everything from a 25k breaker, 5litres of paint, loads of tools and had various bike bits hung off it..

the strap's too slow for despatch riding, but they're tough, cheap enough and very un-fashionable.

  • Can you get any more innuendo into a thread!?!

  • ja - go to the crumpler website !

  • I like to recommend them canoeing dry bags

  • Does the Sticky Date have a cross strap? I need a bigger bag that has a cross strap as I'm getting fed up with swinging it across my back every time it slips round...

  • Yeah, i'm sure it does.

They call it a third leg, so if it mentions that, it has one.

Next day delivery my arse, although, it is christmas.
