    Yep, and I found that there was just about enough drop available on the clip that attaches to the rear brake bridge to get the gear close enough to the tyre for it not to look crap. There's also a fair amount of flex and adjustment in the guard (SKS 35) and stays to allow the guard to sit at an even distance from the tyre most of the way round.

    On the current set-up I haven't bothered putting a spacer between the chainstay bridge and the mudguard, so the front end of the guard does sit a little way forward from the tyre at that point, closer to the seat tube. But I have used spacers in the past to get it all to fit snugly and look tidier.
