Why does something being hand made make it better? I here much about something called '531' apart from being lighter (is it?) what difference does it have to my cromo 4130 (or something like that). Is NJS like Corgi? My bike has lasted 12 years of of daily riding and still works fine.
Are we simply buying these names for image based reasons?*
*There is nothing wrong with this if this is the case.
steel rides better then cormoly this is a fact, my 953/853/753 BREW is quite simalar in geo (well kinda) to my 4130 bianchi i know which i have ridden ever day for the past six months and why.
the original question can be anwsered esaly the NJS bike had better geometry if you happen to be a japanese male riding a kirin heat. other then that it is probably lighter then your lotis, and a bit more responsive (read twitchyer) in the handeling dept. also peole will pay for an NJS frame even if they never plan on racing in japan, just as japaneses will pay for a BJ even if they never ride more then 5miles.
the Bj you aske about is either 1 a real track bike (again ligher and twitchyer) or a real tourer (longer wheel base for comfort and geo suited to longer rides).
