Member's co-op rather than a worker's co-op (like Brixton).
Not that I've come across. It'd be great if there was. Although they don't have free tool access, MEC in Canada is amazing for cheap necessities (tubes, waterproofs, etc.). I miss MEC...

As horatio says Brixton is a co-op of sorts.
Bristol has the excellent Bike Workshop on 88 Colston Street, Bristol BS1 5BB.
(free innertubes please) ;-)

Are there any cooperative (as in worker coop or member coop) bike shops / sheds in London? I live in Oxford and am using the Oxford Cycle Workshop which is excellent, but my brother lives in London and it seems there is nothing like that down there?
Hello twigdip, there are numerous LCC workshops around London, where does your brother live? (All are welcome, not just LCC members.)

Ah, thanks, Gus, I should have read further downthread before posting just now. Yes, that is one.

(by coop i mean: you pay a yearly membership fee and use the tools and advice for free - tuesday nights in oxford - and get discount on new stuff in shop or on orders)
