now I know how to commit murder and get away with it, my enemies better start running.
cars are great aren't they?
they are your own little mobile fortress, phone booth, disco, kitchen, restaurant, bedroom and office, a shield against responsibility and blame and can be used as a deadly weapon without fear of breaking the law, basically they piss all over guns.
I expect this is how the Empire managed to get away with the Death Star
From quite a good source, if you intentionally run someone over, but it's summertime and your window is open, you can claim a bee flew in. This then sparked your natural reaction to swat it away and it was during this lapse of concentration you ran the person over. Charge reduced to manslaughter, good lawyer, even less.

screw the bee story. get the dude on a bike. hit him. claim you didn't see him. I guarantee you wont see jail time. counts double if you can borrow an hgv. you will probably keep your license too.

If you drive and HGV with a bee in it and take out a whole peleton of cyclists, you'll probably have your congestion charge refunded.

Haha! I'd like to see that one get played out in court. Your Honour, I swear there was a bee! Oh well in that case here's some money. You poor chap. Someone sweep these mourning relatives out of the courtroom please.

well did a repot, there was more of an uproar about the guy next to me's stolen phone. I don't expect any thing. my ankle is hurting less today and the bike is mostly ok.

I'm glad this one wasn't too serious, Chris, get better quickly. Whatever happens, report it, so well done. There's far too much under-reporting of car-bike incidents (as indeed of bike theft). It's often a case of things needing to be/appear worse before they get better, i.e. before they become considered more of a priority and the police can argue for more resources for it.
yeah man..
i've been hit twice. neither time was serious, but both could've been a lot worse.
both happened at traffic lights and both would've been avoided if i'd just run the red.
i'm not trying to say it's always safer to run reds, but in certain situations it is and i'm not sacrificing my own safety for the sake of the highway fucking code!
