My movie watching comprises normally of movies which appeal in different ways.
Choice 1: Bad Boy Bubby + **Kung Fu Hustle **
Choice 2: North by Northwest +** Rabbit-Proof Fence **
Choice 3: **Leon + The Incredibles **Kung Fu Hustle's brilliant. Other martial arts movies are always so samey. Operation Condor's a big favourite in this house, though.
Other favs that I don't think anyone has mentioned: Do The Right Thing; Rashomon; In The Heat Of The Night; Pan's Labyrinth; The Last Seduction, High Plains Drifter; Rain Man; The Usual Suspects; Dances With Wolves, Who Framed Roger Rabbit...
This thread's some sort of sales-increasing ploy by the DVD industry.

I love the film 'Factotum' (charles Bukowski biopic, sort of, starring Matt Dillon)
this is a good one, but he's soo not the way dirty old bukowski always seems in my mind, so lukewarm for me i guess, but still psyched to see somebody mention it.
- city of god
- the squid and the whale (never met a british person who had seen this. anybody?)
- darjeeling limited
also office space & lebowski for pure laughs.
